Recently I visited my preferred Apple store in Manilla, The A.Shop in Eastwood, just to browse through the items and sales hunter I am, look if something new was discounted. A new series of Apple gadgets had made it’s appearance and immediately caught my eye.
One of the things I always hated with a passion about my MacBook equipment was the charger and it’s well designed cord wrap option but poor design for users who prefer the long charger cable. I also had to purchase a new charger because my MagSafe cable suffered the typical death of connection.

No need to say that as someone who always travels with the long power cord, I always have been on the lookout for a solution and what I saw at the A.Shop was love at first sight.

One of the greatest things about the PowerCurl, which is made out of solid rubber (alike) material is that both ends of the power cord can be rolled up and that the charger, which stays in the middle, is slightly elevated thus protecting the charger from overheating.
The clip-on for the long cord, reminiscent of the MagSafe’s own clip is also a nice detail and allows you to make sure that the cord stays wrapped up during travels.
